FTC Approves Final Ruling Against Lornamead

Company to pay $500K for claims about its Lice Shield products.

Following a 30-day public comment period, the Federal Trade Commission has approved a final order settling charges that Lornamead used exaggerated claims about its “Lice Shield” shampoo, stick, and spray products, stating that they would prevent or reduce the risk of getting head lice.
